SC Cattle Auctions Weekly Review: Compared to last week, feeder steers
were 2.00 higher, feeder heifers unevenly steady, feeder bulls too few to
trend. Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1 400-500 lbs 302.50-330.00; 500-
600 lbs 285.00-310.00. Feeder Bulls: Medium and Large 1 400-500 lbs
300.00-315.00; 500-600 lbs 270.00. Feeder Heifers: Medium and Large 1
400-500 lbs 245.00-297.50; 500-600 lbs 240.00-262.50. Slaughter cows were
steady to 3.00 lower. Slaughter Cows: Breakers 75-80% lean 124.00-140.00;
Boners 80-85% lean 110.00-140.00; High Dressing 139.00-149.00; Lean 85-
90% lean 107.00-133.00; Lean low dressing 90.00-119.00. Slaughter bulls
were 11.00 lower. Slaughter Bulls: Average dressing 980-2260 lbs 133.00-
165.00; High Dressing 1540-1895 lbs 159.00-173.00; Low Dressing 835-1825
lbs 114.00-144.00.
Goats: [152] A Week Ago: 249 Reported Monday to Wednesday. Slaughter
and replacement classes sold on a per head basis and weights are
estimated. Kids: Sel 1 20-40 lbs 45.00-65.00, 40-60 lbs 60.00-145.00.
Sel 2 20-40 lbs 35.00-50.00, 40-60 lbs 50.00-75.00. Does/Nannies: Sel 1

SC Grain on Friday. Corn bids were 6 to 7 cents higher; elevator bids
3.88-4.93, processor bids 4.93-4.98. Soybean bids were 16 cents higher;
elevator bids 10.15-11.10, processor bid 11.95 and export 12.00. New Crop
Wheat bids were 7 to 14 cents higher; elevator bids 4.78-5.37.
Cotton on Friday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 0.41 higher
at 77.77.
